I'm looking for a collection of crosswords to work on while riding MUNI. I want one that will help me to maintain my vocabulary but not be extremely challenging. I can finish my local paper's crosswords but i'm by no means an expert.

I don't want to sound picky, but one thing I've noticed in a lot of crosswords is that they're written for an older audience. Being only 21, I often stumble on the historical pop culture references in the daily papers. Is this something i'm imagining, or is it across the board?

Also, i'm looking for something more like a book or magazine that would be a one time purchase. Not something that would require subscription. Expense is a factor, but not as much as getting something that will be stimulating and rewarding.
